Q8 Formula Techno FE Plus 5W-30 has been specially developed by Q8Oils for Ford’s latest wet-timing-belt engine technology and is backwards compatible with all engines requiring Ford WSS M2C 912-A, 913-A/B, 913-C approvals. It is also suitable for diesel and gasoline engines where manufacturers (including Honda, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Toyota and Volvo) recommend ACEA A5/B5 and A1/B1 specification lubricants; and is claimed by the company to offer a fuel economy improvement of up to 3% and extend drain intervals.

Q8Oils has introduced a fuel-economy-improving, ultra-high-performance SAE 5W-20 synthetic engine oil to meet Ford’s latest M2C 948-B specification for EcoBoost engines.
The low viscosity Q8 Formula Exclusive Eco 5W-20 passenger car motor oil has been specially developed by Q8Oils for Ford EU’s vehicles with normally aspirated or turbo-charged gasoline engines requiring a low SAPS engine oil. The new engine oil meets Ford M2C 948-B and ACEA C1 and A5/B5-07 specifications, is suitable for Euro V EcoBoost engine types and is backwards compatible with Ford M2C 925-B applications.

The new engine oil is suitable for use with Ford’s three-cylinder 1.0 litre and four-cylinder 1.6 and 2.0 litre EcoBoost engines, which form a key part of Ford’s ECOnetic portfolio that is designed to improve torque and power while reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The engines were initially launched in 2011 and are available on most models in the Ford EU range including the new Fiesta, Focus, C-MAX and Mondeo models.
