Leeds-based Q8Oils has appointed Matt Bloomer as technical services manager. In his new role, Matt will work closely with sales & marketing and Q8Oils product line managers to ensure that technical support excellence is delivered across Q8Oils UK’s direct and indirect customer base.
With a background in formulation science, Matt joined Q8Oils as development chemist six years ago and was instrumental in the development of the current Q8 Baroni range of soluble cutting fluids.
Commenting on his appointment, Matt says that he’s looking forward to the many new aspects the role will bring, including managing relationships with customers, suppliers and manufacturers and supporting the sales activities of Q8Oils’ UK-based customers.
He goes on to say that he is delighted to remain in touch with his previous role and looks forward to continuing the research and development of new and existing cutting fluids for the metal manufacturing product line with his colleagues in Milan and Rotterdam.
